Volunteer Aplication

Thank you for considering becoming a volunteer with Berthoud Habitat for Humanity! We are thrilled to welcome you to our team of passionate individuals dedicated to making Berthoud a better place through affordable housing. Please review the volunteer opportunities below and indicate the fields you are interested in by selecting the appropriate department under the "Areas of Interest" section on your application.

Volunteering at the ReStore:

Volunteers must be 18 or older unless they are high school students required to complete volunteer hours for graduation.
Scheduling is flexible and falls within ReStore business hours: 10 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
Opportunities include:
- Receiving and sorting donations
- Organizing clothing displays
- Assisting with displays and merchandise in desired departments (electronics, home goods, books, etc.)

Volunteering in Construction:

Volunteers must be 16 or older (limited opportunities are available for teenagers).
Scheduling is flexible and depends on the construction schedule. For current opportunities, please contact us at laura@berthoudhabitat.org.

Volunteering in the Office:

Volunteers must be 18 or older unless they are high school students required to complete volunteer hours for graduation.
Scheduling is flexible and falls within office business hours: 9 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Friday.

Volunteering at an Event:

Volunteers must be 18 or older unless they are high school students required to complete volunteer hours for graduation.
Scheduling and opportunities depend on upcoming events. To inquire about volunteering for a specific event, please contact us at laura@berthoudhabitat.org.

Court-ordered Community Service Volunteers:

We cannot accommodate volunteers with violent, sexual, or theft-related charges.
By submitting a volunteer application, you confirm that you do not have charges of this nature.
Proof of your charge is required before beginning community service hours.
If you are unsure whether your charge falls within these categories, please contact us at laura@berthoudhabitat.org.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
We have limited capacity for community service volunteers. However, we strive to offer flexible scheduling based on your availability.
