As a Construction Volunteer with Berthoud Habitat for Humanity, you play a hands-on role in building safe, affordable homes for families in our community. Whether you have professional construction experience or are picking up a hammer for the first time, your efforts directly contribute to creating stable housing and brighter futures.
Time: We are flexible! We’re on site from 8 am to 2 pm (summer hours)—come in anytime within this window and stay for as long as you’re able to.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with various stages of home construction, including framing, siding, painting, and interior finishing.
- Work alongside skilled site leaders, fellow volunteers, and future homeowners.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure and productive worksite.
- Learn new skills while making a meaningful impact.

What Should You Bring:
- Comfortable clothing that allows you to move around freely and adequate for current weather.
